Desmond's final years were spent living in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. He enjoyed his garden, his
art, and to relax listening to Jazz.
He became ill at Easter 2003 and was in hospital for several weeks until his death on 4th June 2003,
aged 73 years.
"The purpose of 'will' is to manage 'life' in this

In his youth and through to his final years Desmond used to enjoy walking on the North Yorkshire Moors.
After his cremation in Scarborough, his ashes were taken to Osmotherly and scattered over the moors there.
